Open the app, tap Sign Up and choose Guide. Until you are verified your account is read-only: you can look, but not post.
In Profile you will see the Verify prompt. Either enter the verification code you were given and you are verified instantly, or ask two verified colleagues to vouch for you and your account opens once they accept.
Once verified, open the Routes tab and create a route. Add stops on the map, leave text, voice or a photo at each one, and choose whether it is public or stays in your own library.
On the Map, long-press a spot or use the + button to leave a message. Only people who physically come near that spot can read it.
If you belong to an operator’s team, the tours assigned to you appear under My Tours. Accept them, start one when the group is ready and your progress reaches the operator while you walk. Background location is optional and asked for only when you start.
Open the app, tap Sign Up and choose Operator. In Profile choose Create Organization and enter your company name and a short code.
In Organization tap Invite and enter the guide’s email. The guide must already have a GuideField account.
On the Tours screen tap New Tour, pick a route, a guide and a date. When the guide accepts, the tour appears in their My Tours. Build the day with stops, transfers and meals, and add your guest list with dietary and access notes.
When the tour is live you see checkpoint progress, the guide’s position on the map, field reports and alerts in one place.
The first 2 tours are free. After that each tour you take live uses one credit; the credit chip on the Tours screen shows your balance and lets you buy more.
GuideField only admits verified professionals. Until you are verified your account is read-only: you cannot upload content or send messages. This keeps what you see on the map trustworthy.
